Louis Frank Hollander sued Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated ("CCBCC"), alleging retaliatory discharge in violation of Ala.Code 1975, § 25-5-11.1.1 CCBCC filed motions for a judgment as a matter of law ("JML") at the close of Hollander's evidence and again at the close of all the evidence. The trial court denied the motions. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Hollander, awarding compensatory damages of $150,000...
