WISE, Judge.
The appellant, Tommie W. Sanders, appeals from the circuit court's summary denial of his petition for postconviction relief, filed pursuant to Rule 32, Ala. R.Crim.P., in which he attacked his 1983 guilty-plea conviction for possession of a pistol after having been convicted of a crime of violence, a violation of § 13A-11-72(a), Ala.Code 1975.
