Defendant Joe Joseph appeals a jury verdict finding him guilty of manslaughter. After thorough review of the record, we affirm.

On October 26, 1999, the defendant was charged by indictment with second degree murder, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1, for the death of Andrea Washington. The defendant was arraigned on November 4, 1999, and he entered a plea of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity...
