I. INTRODUCTION

In a settlement agreement, Brooks Range Exploration Company, Inc. (BREXCO) agreed to transport Wallace Gordon's property to Anchorage, unless transporting it would violate state law. The superior court enforced this agreement without holding an evidentiary hearing, notwithstanding BREXCO's assertion that transporting the property would violate the Alaska Historic Preservation Act (AHPA).
