Baker participated in an insurance plan for which Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America ("Guardian") administered the claims. Baker assigned Zhou the right to receive payment from Guardian. That is, rather than bill Baker directly, Baker permitted Zhou to submit the costs of his treatment directly...
