Latavious Cherente Flowers appeals in this case from his convictions for malice murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.1 The evidence at trial showed that taxi driver Forest Nelson was shot and killed in his taxi in LaGrange, Georgia, on March 31, 1997.
