GRAVES, Justice.

On May 14, 2001, Appellant, James Maxie, was convicted in the McCracken Circuit Court of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and of being a second-degree persistent felony offender. Appellant was sentenced to a total of twenty years imprisonment and appeals to this Court as a matter of right. For the reasons set forth herein, we affirm.
