Gyronne Buckley was convicted in 1999 of two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and was sentenced to two life sentences. He appealed his convictions to this court, and we reversed and remanded for resentencing. See Buckley v. State, 341 Ark. 864, 20 S.W.3d 331 (2000). Prior to the resentencing trial, Buckley filed a motion with the trial court in which he attempted to waive a jury for sentencing...
