In this pro se appeal, the plaintiff Rosalyn Caffey challenges a number of rulings by the district court in her suit to recover long-term disability benefits under an employee welfare plan. The defendant UNUM Life Insurance Company ("UNUM"), which administers claims for the plaintiff's long-term disability insurance plan, initially denied Caffey's disability claim.
