Appellants Ted and Niki Gradjelick brought a negligence action against respondents Leland and Patricia Hance and respondent Connie Jo Klosterman for injuries arising out of an apartment building fire. The Gradjelicks' suit is based on the Hances' alleged knowledge of building and fire code violations and unsafe conditions.
