On November 6, 1997, pursuant to a negotiated agreement, the appellant, David Steven Snowden, pled guilty to first-degree robbery. Applying the firearm enhancement set forth in § 13A-5-6(a)(4), Ala.Code 1975, the trial court sentenced him to serve a term of twenty years in prison.
