Defendant Conrad L. Jarvis was charged with possession of a firearm while in possession of marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 14:95(E). Defendant pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. The defendant was found guilty as charged at the close of a trial by a twelve-person jury. The trial court denied defendant's motions for new trial and for post-judgment verdict of acquittal.
