BILL VANCE, Justice.

Billy Wayne McDaniel was convicted of "bail jumping" in 1998 and placed on community supervision. In 2001, the State petitioned the district court to revoke community supervision. After a hearing, the court granted the petition and sentenced McDaniel to three years in prison. McDaniel brings this appeal claiming that the court erred by (1) not granting a competency hearing before a jury and (2) not allowing him to be examined...
