INTRODUCTION

Ann R. Soltis appeals from an order overruling her motion for discharge. Soltis was charged by complaint with a Class I misdemeanor on February 8, 2000. On August 31, 2000, Soltis filed a motion for discharge alleging that the State had not brought her to trial within the statutorily prescribed time under Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-1207 (Reissue 1995).
