Omni Air International, Inc. terminated Anna Botz's employment as a flight attendant in July 2000 after she refused a flight assignment that she believed violated federal safety regulations. Botz filed the instant action in a Minnesota state court alleging that Omni violated Minnesota's whistleblower statute, Minn.Stat. § 181.931-.935 (2000 & Supp.2001), by discharging her in retaliation for refusing the assignment and for reporting...
