Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the People (see, People v Contes, 60 N.Y.2d 620), we find that it was legally sufficient to establish the defendant's guilt of the crimes of which he was convicted beyond a reasonable doubt. The People's witnesses established that at approximately 1:30 A.M. on May 24, 1998, Police Officers Parpan and Serrano were on routine motor patrol...
