This is an appeal from the denial of a pre-trial application for writ of habeas corpus in which appellant, Arturo Solis Peralta, alleges that the State is collaterally estopped from prosecuting the misdemeanor charge of assault filed against him. Specifically, Peralta asserts that the finding by a hearing officer at a parole revocation hearing that he did not violate a condition of his parole prevents the State's prosecution...
