Kenneth Baumruk was convicted in 2001 of murder in the first degree for killing his wife in 1992 at the St. Louis County courthouse. The jury recommended the death penalty, and the court entered judgment accordingly. Baumruk appeals his conviction and sentence. This Court has exclusive appellate jurisdiction. Mo. Const. art.
