COCHRAN, J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which KELLER, P.J., MEYERS, PRICE, WOMACK, JOHNSON, HERVEY, and HOLCOMB, JJ., joined.

We granted the State's Petition for Discretionary Review to determine whether the court of appeals properly reversed appellant's conviction because the trial judge failed to admonish appellant regarding the punishment range for his offense, as required by Code of Criminal Procedure article 26.13,
