The defendant, Theodore Warren, was convicted after a jury trial in Superior Court (Mohl, J.) of reckless manslaughter, see RSA 630:2, I(b) (1996), for the stabbing death of Kevin Connolly. He appeals, arguing that the trial court should have instructed the jury that he was entitled to use deadly force in self-defense if he reasonably believed Connolly was likely to use unlawful force in the commission of a felony.
