This is a direct appeal by the defendant, Deanna C. Wiggett, from her convictions for attempted kidnapping, battery, and aggravated burglary. She was sentenced to a controlling term of 68 months. The charges against Wiggett arose after she approached a young mother in a store parking lot in Wichita, Kansas, sprayed her twice with pepper spray, knocked her to the ground, and attempted to take her infant...
