MOTZ, District Judge.

Plaintiff Anthony Blocker has instituted this action against Giant Food, Inc. ("Giant")1 alleging discrimination on the basis of race under Title VII and § 1981, quantum meruit, discrimination under the Maryland Human Relations Act, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
