FLYNN, J.

The petitioner, Frederick D. Knight, Jr., appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The petitioner claims that the habeas court improperly concluded that

(1) his due process rights were not violated when he was not present at a reconstruction conference and

(2) he was not deprived of the effective assistance of counsel. We affirm the judgment of the habeas court...
