MIHALAKOS, J.

The plaintiff, Carol McEnerney, appeals from the decision of the workers' compensation review board (board) affirming the decision of the workers' compensation commissioner (commissioner). On appeal, the plaintiff claims that (1) the board improperly affirmed the commissioner's determination that she is not entitled to benefits under General Statutes § 31-308a
