Elizabeth Opperman sued M. & I. Dehy, Inc. (M. & I.) in equity to rescind and cancel a mortgage on property owned by Elizabeth. Elizabeth and her husband, Ivan, executed a promissory note and the mortgage in question to M. & I., a corporation owned by their son, John.
