{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Honey Mucci, appeals the decision of the Jefferson County Common Pleas Court that denied a joint motion filed by her and the state of Ohio to dismiss the 16-count indictment that the state had previously filed against her. The issue before us is whether the trial court was permitted to refuse to dismiss the indictment upon the joint motion to dismiss. We are thus called upon to examine the role of the judiciary...
