The Weaverville Town Council (Town) unanimously adopted an ordinance extending the Town's corporate boundaries to include property owned by Sonopress, Inc. (petitioner) on 18 May 1998. Petitioner filed a Petition of Review and Appeal in Superior Court, Buncombe County on 16 June 1998. The trial court entered an order affirming the annexation on 5 October 1998.
