In 1998, Jack William Tocco was convicted of two counts of conspiracy in violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d), and one count of conspiracy in violation of the Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1951, and he was sentenced to twelve months and a day of imprisonment.
