Appellant, Barbara Slater, was found guilty in a bench trial of the offense of theft by receiving. The value of the property was found to be in excess of $500 but less than $2500; therefore, the offense was a Class C felony. At her sentencing hearing, Slater was placed on probation for a period of three years, assessed a $100 fine, and ordered to pay court costs.
