Defendant's motion to suppress evidence seized during the warrantless police entry of his apartment was properly denied. The officers' reliance on defendant's uncle's apparent authority to consent to their entry was reasonable under the totality of circumstances (see People v Adams, 53 N.Y.2d 1, 9).
