JOHNSTONE, Justice.

Appellant, Teresa Fay Vincent, was convicted of murder and sentenced to twenty-five years' imprisonment. The sole issue on appeal is whether the domestic violence exemption of KRS 533.060(1) exempts Vincent from the terms of the violent offender statute of KRS 439.3401. We hold that it does not and reverse the trial court on this issue.
