Appellant Jerry A. Peters was charged with the second degree felony offense of possession of cocaine, enhanced by two prior convictions. Appellant pleaded not guilty to the offense and not true to the enhancement paragraphs. A jury convicted him of the offense, found both enhancement paragraphs to be true, and sentenced him to twenty-five years' imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional...
