Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him upon his plea of guilty of two counts each of murder in the first degree (Penal Law § 125.27 [1]) and murder in the second degree (Penal Law § 125.25 [1]). Supreme Court sentenced defendant to life imprisonment without parole on each count of murder in the first degree, to run concurrent to consecutive terms of 25 years to life on each count of murder in the second...
