We reverse the convictions in this case1 because of prosecutorial misconduct in the method of cross-examination of the defendant. The law previously announced, and disregarded by the prosecution in this case, is clear: it is error for a prosecutor to communicate impressions by innuendo through patterned and leading questions with no demonstrated evidentiary or good faith basis, which are crafted to evoke negative and prejudicial...
