On July 7, 1998, plaintiff Magaly Mercado Rivera ("Mercado") brought this suit claiming that defendant Loctite Puerto Rico, Inc. (hereinafter "Loctite"), fired her in violation of Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.
