On January 24, 1997, Kenny McFadden died from multiple blunt force injuries to his head and neck. A Fayette County grand jury jointly indicted Appellant William F. Myers and Johnny Turner for murder. Turner subsequently agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges in exchange for his testimony against Appellant.
