Daniel DeNardo filed a superior court action for damages arising out of his allegedly wrongful termination from state employment. The superior court dismissed his case, ruling that it was barred under the doctrine of res judicata by a prior judgment on a nearly identical federal claim, which the federal court had dismissed "with prejudice" under Federal Civil Rule 41(b) as a result of DeNardo's willful...
