In this interlocutory appeal, the prosecution asks us to reverse a trial court order suppressing evidence seized from the defendant Edward Hardrick. While officers were searching a residence and arresting its occupants, the defendant knocked on the door. After inviting the defendant into the residence and identifying themselves as police, the officers asked the defendant to remove his hands from his pockets...
