Appellants, Manuela Ruiz and her husband, Robert Ruiz, appeal the dismissal of their claims against Walgreen Co. ("Walgreen") for injuries Manuela allegedly sustained by ingesting medication from a misfilled prescription. The trial court dismissed their claims for failing to file an expert report under the Medical Liability and Insurance Improvement Act ("MLIIA" or "Act").
