Before us is the Commonwealth's interlocutory appeal1 from a District Court judge's allowance of the defendant's motion to suppress evidence obtained during a stop of his motor vehicle by a State police officer. The stop was made as a result of a report by a citizen, delivered in person to the desk officer at State police barracks, that he had just observed a car driving erratically
