{¶ 1} On October 27, 1999, respondent, John C. Shrode of Tiffin, Ohio, filed an answer on behalf of Court Street Properties, Ltd., a defendant in a foreclosure action in the Seneca County Court of Common Pleas. Respondent, who is not licensed to practice law in Ohio, signed the answer as "statutory agent." On July 13, 2000, in the same case, respondent filed a "Motion to Modify Order of Confirmation and Distribution" on Court Street Properties...
