Bryan C. Hugo appeals the trial court's award of attorney fees to Howard S. Stein, his former co-counsel, for work performed on behalf of their client in this contingent fee case. Because Stein withdrew from the case without justification or good cause before Ryan settled with the State, the trial court abused its discretion in awarding attorney fees to Stein. We reverse.
