On March 29, 2001, the circuit court divorced Laurie McClelland ("the wife") and Bryan A. McClelland ("the husband"). The court awarded custody of the parties' two children to the husband, divided the marital property, and ordered the husband to pay the wife $1,200 per month in periodic alimony.
