During the early morning hours of May 7, 2000, Ronald James Thomas robbed and attempted to murder his supervisor, Rose Solomon. By bill of information, the State charged him with armed robbery and attempted second degree murder, violations of La.R.S. 14:64, 14:27 and 14:30.1. A jury found him guilty of both counts.
