The plaintiff, Marianna Narcisse, was injured on the morning of February 2, 1999 when she slipped and fell on an accumulation of snow and ice in the parking lot of a Stop & Shop supermarket in Lynn, Ma. as she approached the entrance to the store. At the close of the plaintiffs case, the defendant moved, pursuant to Dist./Mun. R. Civ. P., Rule 41(b) (2), for involuntary dismissal. The motion was denied.
