[¶ 1] Appellees own working interests in various oil and gas leases located in the Powder River Basin of Campbell County, Wyoming. Appellant and Appellees entered into an agreement by which Appellant agreed to obtain financing for a project related to developing and working the mineral leases in exchange for the opportunity to buy a thirty-five percent share of the mineral leases.
