The genesis of this litigation was an October 1998 accident in Tallahassee in which an automobile driven by then 17-year-old Jessica Shearon (Appellant) was struck by a pickup truck owned by Shaun Sullivan and driven by his daughter, Kathleen Sullivan (Appellees).
