Mrs. Jaime Bordelon and Mr. Tommy Sayer were involved in an automobile accident. Mrs. Bordelon, who was rear-ended, filed suit against Mr. Sayer and his liability insurance carrier, National Automotive Insurance Company. On March 15, 2001, a hearing was held to confirm a preliminary default against him and National Automotive.
