Pursuant to an agreement with the State, defendant, Alphera Sullivan, pleaded guilty in the circuit court of Du Page County to forgery (720 ILCS 5/17-3(a)(1) (West 1996)), a Class 3 felony. The trial court sentenced her to an extended term of six years' imprisonment.
