Plaintiff appeals the trial court's granting of an exception of prescription in favor of defendant. We affirm.

FACTS

On September 17, 1999, Louis Richard died while a resident of Jefferson Davis Nursing Home in Jennings, Louisiana. At the time of his death, the nursing home was being operated by Aberley, Inc. On September 12, 2000, Richard's widow, Velma Richard, filed suit individually and on behalf of the Estate of Louis Richard...
